Pumpkin Cholocate Chip Cookies

2 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 15oz. can of pumpkin
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. sugar
4 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. salt
1 c. chocolate chips
1. In a large bowl mix wet then add dry with an electric mixer till smooth. Add chocolate chips to batter or sprinkle on top of cookies already spooned out onto the pan.
2. Bake at 375o for 12-16 minutes.
Be careful not to over bake, they will look not quite done when they are done because of the pumpkin color.
3. Try not to eat all the batter before putting them on the pan. That's the tough part!
