Hot Fudge Pudding Cake

Sift together:
1 cup flour
3/4 cup sugar
2 T cocoa
2 t baking powder
1/4 t salt
Add to flour mixture:
1/2 cup milk
2 T canola oil
1 t vanilla
Mix together until smooth.
1 cup chopped walnuts
Stir in nuts and spread in greased 9-inch square pan.
Topping:
1 cup brown sugar (scant)
1/4 cup cocoa
1 3/4 cups VERY hot water (for thicker fudge sauce, reduce water to 1 1/2 cups)
Sprinkle brown sugar and cocoa over batter.
Pour hot water over the top.
DO NOT STIR!
Bake at 350 degrees for 40 to 45 minutes.
Serve
